Explore a Thriving Marine National Park

Pigeon Island is unique; it’s one of only two marine national parks in Sri Lanka. The park is absolutely brimming with breathtaking coral reefs. Moreover, it’s home to a stunning array of over 300 exotic marine species and colorful fish.

You can often find yourself snorkeling near fascinating marine life. For example, the island is frequently visited by sea turtles like Hawksbill and Green Turtles. You might even spot beautiful Lemon Sharks or Blacktip Reef Sharks patrolling the area while you snorkel!

Convenient Departure & What to Expect

We want you to maximize your time exploring and relaxing on the island. Therefore, to shorten your transfer, our boats depart directly from Nilaveli beach. Nilaveli is conveniently located north of Trincomalee, just in front of Pigeon Island itself.

We will pick you up at your hotel. Then, we will drive you comfortably by tuk-tuk to the departure point on the beach.
